Those who know me can say without a doubt that I am more into playful than neutral colors. That was one of the reasons why I fell in love with the Make Up For Ever “Artist – Shadows 2” that has launched a couple of weeks ago.
Make Up For Ever “Artist - Shadows 2” – $ 42 |
I also mentioned it in my July Favorites and this baby is one of these palettesI use the most currently.
Let me just show you some swatches before I talk about their formula in a second.
I-872 “Pearly Pink” / D-552 “Crystalline Gray Beige” / ME-512 “Golden Beige” |
ME-910 “Electric Pink” / ME-232 “Turquoise Blue” / ME-700 “Amber” |
S-924 “Purple” / ME-302 “Peacock” / ME-930 “Black Purple” |
As you can see the eye shadows are very pigmented and have a great color pay-off. I’ve used them with an eye primer, with a color base and just on its own and they always delivered a great, long-lasting result without creasing. The shadows have a “gel-powder” smooth formula blended with ultrafine pigments and provide effortless blendability.
The shades are organised in trios so you can create playful, bold and sultry looks. Furthermore the palette includes a little illustrated book with a how-to guide for each look. The names of the eye shadows on the palette are a bit tricky because they are only numbered but I can look past that. (Note: The shadow names for the swatches are taken from their website).
This eye shadow palette is definitely worth the money and I can highly recommend it to you guys. If you are more into neutrals there also exists an Artist Palette Volume 1 with neutral colors.
Wow! Fürchte aber, die gibt es wieder nur in Amerika, oder?
ReplyDeleteSoweit ich weiß, ist sie in Österreich (noch) nicht erhältlich. Vielleicht ändert sich das bald :-)
